In the event you need to cancel your order, your request must be received 14 days prior to your pick-up date to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be issued after this deadline.
The deadline to make changes to your order is also 14 days prior to your pickup date. Requests to change your theme or event date past this deadline will result in a 25% fee added to your total.
Please be aware that once an order is placed, a time slot is secured for your event. Efforts and funds begin in obtaining ingredients, materials to make your event a success. Often times I buy special cookie cutters and supplies that are specific to your order that cannot be returned. I have these policies in place to be fair to myself and my customers. I appreciate your understanding!
Yes. I will deliver anywhere in Orange County. My home base is in Irvine. My Delivery fee is $1 per mile to and from my home base. This will be added to your invoice upon request.
Yes, packaging is available upon request with a fee.
Please keep in the fridge or out of direct sunlight until ready to place on your dessert table. No more than an hour before your party starts.
My cakes taste best at just below room temperature. If you are serving the cake on the day that you pick it up, you can choose to refrigerate it or keep it out of direct sunlight in a cool area but don’t let it sit out for more than an hour. If you choose to refrigerate your cake, please take it out 30 minutes before serving to ensure soft cake and creamy buttercream.
Macarons taste their best at room temperature or slightly chilled – the buttercream is soft, the ganache is creamy, and the shells are nice and chewy! Macarons will keep well for up to 4 days after purchase, though they do need a little special care! To preserve freshness, plastic wrap the bakery box or transfer to an airtight container. Take them out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to enjoy them at room temperature.
Cupcakes tastes best at just below room temperature. If you are serving the cupcakes on the day that you pick it up, you can choose to refrigerate it or keep it out of direct sunlight in a cool area. I openly handle several allergens throughout my kitchen, including dairy, tree nuts, eggs, wheat, and others. While I do our best to keep ingredients separate, I cannot guarantee that any of our baked goods are allergen-free as we use shared equipment to store, prepare and serve them.

Please know that I plan, make the dough, bake, make the icing, meticulously decorate, photograph, and package these delicious treats all while trying to be a wife and stay at home mom. :). Due to the fact that I am a one-woman baking machine my calendar fills up fast. Contact me early to check availability.

I am my own baker, with my own personal style, the product will not be exact to the picture that you have shown me because I am not that person. But I will try to make it exactly like the picture to my ability.
All orders require a 50% deposit at the time the order is placed to secure your spot. Depending on your order, detailed information on the final payment will be noted in the invoice.
All Cookie Dough orders are paid in full at the time the order is placed.
All class registration fees are paid in full at the time of registration. Refund information will be posted for each event on the event listing.

CAKE PICK-UP TIPS FOR TRANSPORTATION
- Make sure that the temperature in your vehicle is as COLD as it CAN BE.
- Drive with precaution; Avoid Pot-Holes, Sharp Turns, Crazy Drivers and Slamming on your brakes.
- To transport larger cakes, bring an SUV or larger sedan when picking up your cake.
- Do not set your cake in the seat or a trunk.
- Many cakes that are smaller than 12″ in diameter can be fit into the front seat-passenger side-floorboard, anything larger should be in an adult’s lap or a level and air-conditioned spot.
- If possible, bring a side-kick along to help you transport and/or carry the cake.
- Never drive like you’re in a Nascar race when carrying cakes, especially tiered cakes. Take it slow around corners, if needed, turn your hazards on.
- Please ensure that the pick up of your cake is the last of your trips before arriving to your final destination.
- Please do not leave your cake in the car while you shop.
Damage to your cake after pick up in not the responsiblity of Charlotte’s Sweets. So please be careful!
